Prior to co-founding BIO-IB, Ashish was a Vice President in the Equity Capital Markets Group at ABN AMRO Rothschild. He brings substantial experience in origination and execution of public market transactions in the Healthcare sector. From 1997 to 2001, Ashish served as a Vice President at ING Barings where he was responsible for executing IPOs, Follow-ons, Pipes, Block Trades, and Private Equity issues.
Previously, Ashish worked as an Associate in the Equity Research Group at Furman Selz, a research-driven investment bank bought by ING in 1997. Ashish received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Rochester and a certificate in Finance from the William E. Simon School of Business in 1994.
Harry brings a wealth of industry experience and has advised on numerous healthcare transactions. Harry was previously a Managing Director of Long Point Advisors LLC. Prior to forming Long Point Advisors, Harry was a senior managing director and U.S. head of technology capital markets at ABN AMRO, a top 20 global bank. As a senior investment banker at ABN AMRO from 1993-2002, he helped build ABN AMRO’s U.S. capital markets business, establish brand identity, and develop and manage transactions and client relationships in equities and debt capital markets.
Harry has significant experience advising Asian companies on international capital market activities and has travelled extensively throughout Asia. Harry received his B.A. degree from Knox College, M.B.A. from DePaul University and completed the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth. He is also a CPA. His business and professional affiliations include the AICPA and Financial Executives International. Harry is currently an adjunct faculty member in Finance in the MBA Program at Sacred Heart University.
Prior to joining BIO-IB, Steve worked as an Associate in the Wealth Management Department at U.S. Trust Company. At U.S. Trust, he was responsible for assisting portfolio managers and trust administrators with their clients�investments and planning.
Steve is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Fordham University and will graduate in 2007 with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. In 2000, he received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Steve is Series 7 and 63 certified by the NASD.
Bill is President and Senior Managing Director at BIO-IB. Bill has been an investment banker and capital markets professional for 35 years and his transaction experience includes more than 1,000 transactions. Prior to joining the firm in March 2007, Bill was head of Equity Capital Markets at Putnam Lovell NBF Securities where he oversaw all transaction origination, execution, placement, pricing, and client and investor relationship development.
Prior to joining Putnam Lovell NBF, Bill was a Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets/ Syndicate at ING Barings LLC in London. He served on the Board of Directors of the predecessor firm, Furman Selz LLC before it was acquired by ING Barings. Prior to joining Furman Selz, Bill spent eighteen years at Smith Barney, Inc. where he was the equity syndicate manager. Mr. Carson began his career as a corporate lending officer at Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. Bill received a B.A. in Political Science from Hamilton College, Clinton, New York. He served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant in U.S. Military Intelligence. He is a past President of the Investment Association of New York, an Officer and Governor of the Bond Club of New York, and former member of the Syndicate Committee of the Securities Industry Association.
Prior to re-joining BIO-IB, Austin worked as an Associate at Goldsmith Agio Helms & Lynner, a private investment bank focused on middle market mergers and acquisitions. While at Goldsmith Agio Helms, Austin assisted in structuring and executing sell-side engagements across a variety of industries.
Austin’s previous tenure with BIO-IB included work on some of the firms largest and most complicated transactions. Austin received an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelors Degree in economics from the University of Maryland.
